Buying guide: Hardware & Tools from China

State standard (ASTM, SAE, ISO or DIN), grade/class (e.g., Grade 8 / Class 10.9), thread, finish (zinc, hot-dip, black oxide) and ask for mill certificates and a salt-spray report. Carbon-steel fasteners from China may carry AD duties; check HTS 7318.

Yes; laser engraving, custom color handles and retail packaging are standard. Hand tool MOQs: 500–2,000 pcs per item; power tools 300–1,000 pcs. Power tools need UL/ETL listing for US sale.

Order from manufacturers (not traders) for ABEC-grade bearings, request dimensional and noise test reports, and check steel grade (GCr15 / 52100). Counterfeit branded bearings are common on open markets — buy own-brand or OEM-marked instead.
