Buying guide: Home Appliances from China

Yes for practical purposes — retailers, Amazon and insurers require an NRTL mark (UL, ETL, CSA). Many Chinese factories keep UL-listed models; ask for the listing number and confirm it covers your exact model and voltage.

Refrigerators, ACs, dehumidifiers and others must meet DOE efficiency standards and carry EnergyGuide labels; ACs must use EPA SNAP-approved refrigerants (R-32, R-410A, R-290 limits). Confirm compliance in writing.

1,000–2,000 pcs per model for stock designs; 3,000+ for custom molds. Lead time 35–50 days; samples 7–15 days.
